Saddle Mountain Supply began doing business in 1976 when two brothers, Ted and Bob Christensen, saw a need for fertilizer on the newly developed Wahluke Slope. Two years later, the old Columbia Produce Building in Royal City was leased, a general manager was hired and Saddle Mountain Supply began serving farmers on the Royal Slope.
