It is a requirement from OSHA that all employees should receive regular safety training to help reduce the risk of workplace injuries. In Washington State, that plan is administered by the Department of Labor and Industries. As a part of this regulation, you are required to develop a written Accident Prevention Program, as well as hold regular safety training meetings. These meetings do not have to “lengthy” or “formal”, but be must be documented. The following links may help you develop and maintain an adequate Accident Prevention Program.
